The Okeechobee Ferret & Cat Rescue is a non-profit rescue currently housing ferrets, cats, and dogs. All animals have been rescued or taken in from homes who could no longer care for them. The majority of the animals are "special" needs pets who require medications, frequent vet visits, and extra special attention. This shelter is currently being run by one very loving and caring person out of her home in Okeechobee, Florida. As of now, the shelter is full and will not be taking in any more surrendered animals.
